Been so Sick!!!

Not a very good last 2 weeks for me. Honestly I was quite garang.. I did not want to report sick, continued to train in sickness. So what happened? body broke down in a week haha.. had fever 38.4 degrees, flu, cough, sore throat. So I had no choice but to report sick and i got a day out of camp to recover haha woohoo.... in addtional 3 days out of training in camp, i just had to do saikang and rest.

Yea not much, next 2 weeks I won't be able to book out. Would be experiencing my first 6 days field camp.... don't think it would be pleasant!!! 5days worth of no bath.... smelly clothes.... eat rations (yucks).... how to survive :(

Haha, Had my new fresh botak haircut for field camp and also some bo liaoz photo effect of my head

3 weeks down 10 more weeks to POP

Another week of bookout. I kind of find the booking process rather annoying, here is how things work. First up the night before we book out we have to do spotless area cleaning in the bunks inclusive of cleaning the smelly toliet, the floors, the bunk and of course removing the anoying kiwi marksss! Ha-ha you may find it rather easy but I have to say they kindda put pressure on the inspection... and what is worse that you can never expect a pass, you just got to pray that ur duty sergeants have good moods. Oh well anyway just a couple of push ups to make us wake up our ideas to improve our standards haha.

Well thats the first step, 2ndly we have to prepare all the paper works such as signing the bookout book and report our total strenght to the COS (sergeant that is incharge of everything in the company) then after we will a briefing from one of the SIR of what time we will book in ... and horrrrray! everyone gets excited for the march from our company line to tekong ferry terminal!!! takes about 10 minutes ahhh!!! such a long march in such a horrfying weather, yea and sweat would be dripping sweat all over your uniform "-_-.

Step 3: scan your ID card and board the ferry! and seat a 15minutees ride from the island back to Singapore.

Step 4: we all would dash out of the ferry to catch the shutter bus. This is the cool part haha, we take the bus on first come first serve basis. So basically once the full platoon fall in and report the total present strenght then we den would be able to catch the 15 minutes shutter bus ride to pasir ris mrt station. So sad that we can't book out from the ferry terminal itself :( oh well

Step 5: farewell to fellow platoon mates for a day ahha.... and all disperse in happiness haha

Step 6: I will then go ask people if they wanna to share cab home... and take the 40 minutes ride home... it reminds me when i was in australia driving from clayton to berwick!!!! and horray i'm home. Total time taken to travel home is approximately about 2 hours.... so sad that we live on the other side of the island "-_-

POP QUICK!
