First Up! i'm in COMPANY COUGAR platoon 2 section 1 bed 11. It is know to be the fierces company in BMTC1 and the training is though! right now i'm struggling with the training and i think its gonna to be much worse in the coming weeks.. we will see.......

Day 1
Sis, Mum when to BMTC school to send me off, and also to tour the school and taste the food..,, After they left this is when the good things get start, anyways the commanders are told not to do anything funny yet as we are still adjusting to army life but well so lucky.. Anyway, first up is we get all our barang barang the uniform/equipments , apparently the stuff are really heavy at least 40kg and we are expect to walk up with it :( there is a lift but we can't use damn!!! Thank godness that I'm only level 3 only need to walk up 2 levels, i pity those platoon 4 people where they have to walk up 4 levels

Next up we have our greatest fear....... hair cut! botah! arrhhh, the aunty was not very gentle with my hair, it was kindda long and she treated it as she was cutting grass. Oh well S$2 u can't expect too much from it. and i remember the rest of the day was checking of items and paper works and lights off 2230 !! ahh so damn early and its so hot as well cause we have to put the damn mosquito net over us to prevent dangue.

Scroll to end for moi hair cut pictures!

Day 2

The rest of the day was training how to wear the uniform, equipment and more admin work

At day six my arms are really sore after all the immense training yea my arms were some how flex the medic was kindda pissed with me as my arms werent relax so anyway it was a 2 kinda painful jabs it could barely move after ahha what's worse after is we have to march back to our company "-_-.

Day 7
Can't remember what we did but it was more talks and more sleeping lessons ahha

Day 8
IPPT test! wah laoz... it was actually a trail test to see where we stand in our fitness level, I was kindda depress as it sux... 13.58 for running, shutter run 10.5 second, SBJ 180 (wah lao damn sad), pull up 0 (lagi worse), sit up 30!.. yea the rest of my platoon mates were all really fit mann! i think i'm the worse

Book OUT!!!!

Hello guys how have u been? Anyways it has been a great two full weeks of confinement experience in pualau tekkong; the boring land which is said to be one degree hotter than the mainland, filled with lots of nsf botahs like me and a small military mini mart which is our only store in the island how sad :S... Good news, my commanders are cool people.. maybe its just the adjustment week, probably things will change after my first book. My sections mates (people who i live with in a bunk) are the best! or maybe some can be said to be siao? yes let me tell u more about them:

Eugene -- not too sure abt which school he goes to but he is known to be my shitting buddy, for some reason we have stomach at the same time but its kindda of wired la we do military style poo. (note we don't share the same lane but we cordinate the poo la, if ur thinking the wrong way) It goes like this lane 6 ready!, lane 5 ready!. FIRE!!!!!! lol :p

Jerome -- Said to be the commanding officer of our section! haha he plans all the things like area cleaning and all the other minor stuff in our sections.

Reza-- Haha, he is our messy guy, always put stuff everywhere, we need to remind him to keep this and that. And again its a small world he knows all most of my secondary class mates from fairfield.

Shang -- Haha, not too sure abt him yet maybe he too far from our bed.. but all i know he's from nee ann ploy did his diploma in engineer. Yea, we chat a little here and there, didn't talk that much cause he spent most of his admin time talking to his gf.

Edmun -- Cool onz guy!! training really hard, to make it into OCS, he really wants to get the pay, cause he needs more $$ to manage his finance! i'm sure he can do it

Chong Ming -- Aiyo i pity him, he sprain his ankle at his old injury... which is kindda severe, yea he was doing otot(on time own target running) and was called of buy other coy commanders and accidentally trip and injured his leg. Sians now he's OOT ( out of training) he probably have to do a recourse in his BMT.

Danny -- Largest body size in our sections... If train can be really strong... he is my training buddy we have almost the same physical standards...

Sharfic -- Hehe Small size but strong, haha he spent most of his time sleeping, but anyway its the month of ramandan, probably he's lack of energy need his sleepto but other than that he is fun!!

Garry -- haha another hardcore guy, does bridge daily to train his apes.. haha spents his admin time talking on the phone too..

Tai Hock -- hehe cool guy we share our talk cock moments together

My bed buddy, Kaixun -- Crazy dood! he has a commander body build and he's really siao on with his training at least 100 push ups before sleep and he trains really madily! haha we talk cock lots together too haha

Haha yea.... thank god that are good people around me, no ah bengs and big bullies like people in my bunk but hopefully when things get more demanding/stressful, I hope we can bond together and strive through the days in BMT.

The nation to serve in 5 days

Woohoo. couple more days to I see myself in the camp in tekkong. I'm kindda excited to see myself in the greeny uniform with the rifle and the big helmet. Ha-ha, yea i was reading through the papers all about National Service in Singapore for the last 40 years, very detail it gives tells you almost everything from the trainings to the sleeping but i'm not too sure whether its true. One of the section i'm amaze of is the uniform... it show you the changes/"improvements" of the uniform haha minor colour changes slightly brighter looks more apealing, err.. the helmet became slightly bigger improve the comfort. And the one thing i'm suprise of is the SBO which u attach ur ammunition and your other barangs. Yea it has built in water packs where it runs a straw out somewhere near your mouth to drink.. haha so cool! I can go back to days where i love to drink water straw. Oh well, I better enjoy the next few days of freedom and relaxation, i reckon i would be dead tired daily.

I'm not very active these couples of days most of the time spent at work serving customers. I have to admit that money is not a very easy thing to earn. There is alot of effort and strenght to be put in to earn that dollars... but anyways its a great experience especially the different type of customers. There are nice to the terrifying once.. especially the singaporeans want cheap cheap and the best!! hai~!~! probably the sterotype but well u need to always keep your smile on ur face in all moods.
